Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2024: Before the publication of the class 10th results, the deadline for applying for the Polytechnic admission procedure was June 2025. The deadline for submitting an online application for the Directorate of Technical Education’s Diploma Course (Polytechnic) admission procedure has been extended to July 2025. DTE organizes Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2024 based on a candidate merit list. To apply online, you must first register on the Technical Education Department’s website, https://poly23.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Eligible candidates should carefully read the following post. Maharashtra Polytechnic Admissions Process 2025 Candidates in Maharashtra can only apply for Polytechnic courses online. The following are the stages to admittance. Check out the official webpage. Sign up using a valid email address and password. Fill out the application form with the requested information. Upload the required papers. Pay the application fee using one of the supported online ways. The application cost for applicants in the General category and those from other states is INR 400. The application cost for Maharashtra’s reserved category candidates is INR 300. After you’ve paid the application cost, click the ‘Submit’ button. The merit list generated based on the completed data will be used to decide admission to the diploma course. Applicants must go to the ‘Facilitation Centres’ to verify their documents.

DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2024 Eligibility

Diploma    in Engineering and Technology(A) First Year of Post SSC
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates.
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination
or  its  equivalent,  with  at  least  35% aggregate marks
Candidates from states other than Maharashtra are only eligible for the institute quota.
(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.
(i) Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks
(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Rules.
(B) Direct Second Year of Post SSC
Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate.
(i)  The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed   10+2   examination   with   Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry / Computer Science/Electronics /Information Technology/ Biology / Informatics Practices/Biotechnology /Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics / Business Studies/Entrepreneurship (Any of the three).
OR
10th + (2 years ITI) with appropriate Trade in that order shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) of appropriate Programme.
(The Affiliating Body will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme)
Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.
(C) Post HSC in Surface Coating Technology
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates. –
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed  HSC  Science with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.
(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National. –
(i) Passed HSC Science with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Rules.
Diploma in Pharmacy(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate
a. The Candidate should be an Indian National;
b. pass in 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.
OR
Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination
Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.
(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.
a. pass in 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.
OR
Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination
Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates.
(i)  The Candidate should be an Indian National
(ii) Passed 10+2 /HSC examination or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks
