OTET 2025 Notification: The Odisha Board of Secondary Education is holding the 2025 Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET). Candidates seeking Orissa teaching jobs must take Odissa TET 2025. Registration begins on October 2025. Candidates must read the OTET-2025 (2nd) Instructions, Eligibility, and Applicability before registering. Only eligible OTET candidates should log in.
Candidates for the OTET Exam must be 12th passed with at least 50% marks and hold a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT or D.El.Ed.) or 12th with 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or 12th with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduates with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.These are Category A conditions.
For Category B, graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR graduation with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. or graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed in accordance with the NCTE or 12th with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed/B.A./B.Sc, Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. OTET Exam has two papers, I and II. Candidates will be tested on subject analysis, interpretation, and application. Negative marking is prohibited.
